The Standard of Ur is a made from a hollow wooden box, inscribed with inlaid mosaics. The inlay is one of the oldest ways of sculpting. Many of the craftsmen in the past had used a variety of styles and knives in order to create an intricate design. 

The Standard of Ur is inspired from the different wars that Sumerians have encountered in the past.
