Increases in the planned allowance for sampling risk have what effect on required sample size decreases.

Sampling risk is one of many types of risk an auditor may face in performing the required sampling process. Audit sampling exists because it is impractical and costly to audit all or 100% of a client's records or books. As a result, a "sample" of customer accounts is examined.
