The tension between being more open versus being more private is expressed through family privacy rules.

Family privacy rules determine the manners in which family secrets and confidential information are dealt with by members of the family, and the circumstances for their protection, divulgement, etc.

These rules of maintaining privacy, like rituals, are passed down to succeeding generations. Some secrets are held by a member internally, some are kept by the family as a whole and outsiders are not privy to such information.

These privacy rules also govern their interaction with people outside the family, thus mediating the tension between being more open versus being more private.

Pigeon A and B were both trained with an S of a 800 Hz tone. Pigeon A then had an S- of 700 Hz. Pigeon B was trained with an S-
xxMikexx [17]

Answer:

Both Pigeon A and B

Explanation:

Peak shift is a term that describes the conditions in which the peak of the generalization gradient moves away from the position of S+ in the direction away from the S-. This implies that, peak shift can be determined if the S+ and S - tigger the existing factors during different training in a graded manner.

Thus, if both S+ and - has mutual characteristics, then a major part of those characteristics will be triggered by both stimuli, thus, the stimulating experience of S+ will override or revoke the experience or training of S-.

Hence, since both pigeon A and B, had the S+ 800Hz tone training initially, with elemental theories, it is determined that, both will produce most peak shift phenomenon.

Note:

S+ is a stimulus showing availability of reinforcement

S- is a stimulus showing lack of reinforcement.

In front of the Georgia General Assembly in 1971, newly elected Governor
Leokris [45]

Answer:

The answer is "promote racial equality."

Explanation:

Jimmy Carter served in the Georgia State Senate from 1963 to 1967, and in 1970 he was elected Governor of Georgia. He ran on an anti-segregation platform and he supported affirmative action measures for ethnic minorities. Carter served as Governor of Georgia until 1975. Carter showed his commitment to civil rights in his term as governor. He increased the number of black state employees, judges, and board members in a state that had a significant segregationist contingent in the population. His advisor for potential appointments was a black woman named Rita Jackson Samuels who helped him to recruit strategic appointees who would champion civil rights in the state. He placed portraits of Martin Luther King Jr. and two other prominent black Georgians from the 1880s in the capitol building. Henry McNeal Turner, was a Methodist Bishop who served in the state legislature in the 1880's, and Lucy Laney's portrait was also hung and she organized schools in the Augusta area during the 1880s. Yet the Ku Klux Klan picketed the unveiling ceremony showing how civil rights was still a controversial issue and white supremacists like the KKK felt they had the right to openly protest.
