What is the significance of personification?

Personification can be referred to or considered as a figurative language in which the expression shows or compares the acts by non-living things to the things done by a human. It is also used as a figure of speech in a composition to add an imagery element to the text.

We know that it is literally impossible for vengeance to walk, however, in the sentence given above, vengeance has been given the human quality of walking and has been imagined as such by the author in the given text.

In the call of the wild, pile’s insubordination in shrinking his duties precipitated from spitz. What does that mean?
Andreas93 [3]
I don't know if there are options to choose from, but I'll explain what happened. Pike was a dog who refused to do his duty one morning, but hid and kept sleeping. So, Spitz, who is the alpha male, the leader dog, punishes Pike. Buck, the dog-hero of the story, tries to interfere and clash with Spitz, but to no avail because Francois, the human leader, whips him. So, Spitz manages to punish Pike for his disobedience.

Write a letter to the editor of Himalayan times complaining the problem in your locality
Bond [772]

Answer:

Grant political asylum

This is in response to the news titled “Rizal yet to get travel documents” dated March 17. It is unfortunate that Tek Nath Rizal, known as the father of the Bhutanese democracy movement, could not go to Geneva to attend the UN Commission for Human Rights meeting as the Nepal government could not provide him with necessary travel documents. He and two other Bhutanese human rights activists were invited by Lutheran World Federation. Nepal has not granted him political asylum till date for which he had applied in October last year. It sounds mysterious why Nepal deliberately fails to do so if it sincerely wants to solve the long protracted crisis. Granting Rizal the refugee status and travel document would not add any extra burden for Nepal, rather it would unleash Nepal from the burden of raising their concerns in the international arena. Who else could present the concerns and problems of the refugees better than Rizal?
