Answer: Factors that affect physical growth and developments are;

1. Sex: sex of a person can affect physical growth and development. It is said that male tend to mature easily.

2. Nutrition. Bad nutrition can affect growth. When a person consume unbalanced and appropriate diets frequently, it will affect his development and growth.

3. Heredity: this is the transfer of genes from parent to offsprings. The type of genes or physical characteristics transmitted by parent to offsprings will determine the offsprings level of growth and development.

4. Hormones: if hormones necessary for growth and development are not secreted in the required amount, it can affect growth and development.

5. Environment: The environment we find ourselve determine our level of development.

6. Exercises and health: If you don't exercise daily, muscle development might not be visible and poor health after growth.

Explanation:

Growth is the increase in size of an individual.

Development is the increase in functionality and individuals ability . There are four stages of growth, infancy, childhood, adolescence and adulthood. Growth and development can be affected by several factors.
