Explanation:

Watching a speech might be better than reading a speech because some people might better understand what is being explained. Another reason is because people can get the feeling and overall tone of the speech. This might make someone want to keep listening. When you're reading a speech you cant really grasp the reason why this person has wanted to collaborate on this specific topic. When you listen to it, you can really understand the person's point of view and the reason why he/she wanted to share that topic with you. Soon other people will be intrigued and want to listen to more.
