Answer:

d. New weapons required armies to rework plans of attack.

Explanation:

The new weapons as techology developed required new plans for attack and defense, as well as new tactics and strategies developed. We can mention: reconnaisssance by air, new artillery techniques, the use of poison gas, cars that turned into tanks and the use of radio and telephone to expand communicating lines.

A formation of increased and more rationalization to improve armies was needed, the training of soldiers and generals was accelerated. New weapons needed to be produced by the industries. Society and economies developed to a total war effort.

The so called wars of attrition then took by suprise many aspects that needed to be overseek as the traditional war tactics rendered unsustainable.

With expanded armies, greater allianaces took place and tensions escalated the way wars were fought in global scale.

How did asoka unify the maurya empire
Nadusha1986 [10]
Asoka unified the empire by conquering unexplored tribal and forested regions. Asoka also converted from Hinduism to Buddhism and helped make Buddhist temples all over the region. He had a violent conquest over Kalinga (which was a state separate from his empire) and reunited all of these separate states until he was ruling a vast majority of what is now the Indian Subcontinent (India, Pakistan and Bangladesh). He accomplished more than his ancestors had ever accomplished.

How did european countries attempt to profit from their african colonies after world war i?
Oduvanchick [21]

It has to be considered first of all , that France and Britain kept their imperial rules in their African colonies. This meant that added to their territories in Europe, they were also taking the African colonies as part of their countries. After the war ,the colonies in East Africa, which used to be under the control of the German, got into the hands of Belgium and Britain. The French and British led economic expansion from those territories ,expanding their civil administrations as well as intensifying capitalist integration. Both countries considered that they were reestablishing the productivity of the African territories after their loss by the Germans. There was an amplification of political and also land privileges for France and Britain. Both countries were hoping that this expansion would bring about economic advantages as well. This annexation so as to call it,  included the demands of minerals and agricultural resources needed by many nations around the globe. All resources were now commanded by France and Britain and some small portion by Belgium.
