There is an extremely large amount of ways that new inventions changed peoples lives. They allowed people to do less work and get more out of there work. For instance the Cotton Gin, this was instrumental in cotton becoming a true cash crop. It allowed cotton to be quickly processed by 2-3 people in an hour, that the same amount would take a day with 20 people without the Cotton Gin. This is just one example. So these inventions changed peoples lives by decreasing labor and increasing profit (especially for companies).
