What do you think about industrial revolution?

The world as we know it would not be possible without the industrial revolution, and  a lot of luxuries that we know are a result of it. On the other hand, it was a time of misery for the workers at the factories - and I usually think of the human prize of the revolution, the suffering of the poor back then so that we can have a comfortable life now.
