Explanation:  The Six Day War was the Israeli Arab War, also known as the June War, occurred on June 5, 1967 between Israel on one side, and Egypt, Jordan and Syria on the other. This war was an escalation of the conflict that resulted from not so good relations between Israel and neighbouring Arab states since the founding of the state of Israel in 1948. The result of the war was that some of the territories of the neighbouring Arab states became part of Israel, including eastern Jerusalem.
