On November 22nd, 1963 Lyndon B. Johnson (LBJ) became the 36th President of the United States, known by his legacy on the national government in domestic affairs or domestic policy.

Such domestic agenda, on which Lyndon B. Johnson focused over the course of his term, centered around the notion of a “Great Society”, which consisted on the creation and development of programs to improve the lives of Americans. The most dramatic parts of this ambitious domestic agenda concerned with bringing aid to issues of inequality in education, regulating natural resources, and protecting American consumers.

Regarding the inequality in education Lyndon B. Johnson was able to pass programs that no President had been able to pass where immense amounts of money were transferred not only into colleges to fund students and projects but also into federal aid for elementary and secondary education. Similarly, with respect the regulation of natural resources, LBJ passed environmental protection laws as well as landmark land conservation measures,.

Associate these compromises made in the Constitution- large state/small state, 3/5 Compromise, Electoral College-
hram777 [196]

Answer:

The Electoral College system has led to controversy. In both the election of 2000 and the election of 2016, one candidate won the popular vote, but the other candidate won the Electoral College and therefore the presidency. Critics charge that in this system, a small group of representatives decides the presidency, rather than the entire population of the United States, and that states with smaller populations have a disproportionate say in who becomes president.

Explanation:

The Articles of Confederation required all thirteen states to agree to an amendment in order to make any changes. Article V of the Constitution requires two-thirds of Congress or state legislatures to propose an amendment, and three-quarters of the states to ratify it. That's still tough, but it's not impossible like it was under the Articles!
