The quote could be seen on page number 186.
This is one of the famous quote from a book called 'I am Malala'

-Malala Yousafzai, I'm Malala: The Story of Girls Preparing for Education and Being Shot by the Taliban.

Further Explanation

Malala Yousafzai and her struggle for education for women in Pakistan began to become an international spotlight when she was shot in the head by the Taliban and survived. My Malala is a story of growing up in Pakistan that is slowly turning into an unrecognizable state under a non-secular extremist government.

When the Taliban moved to Pakistan they began to severely limit women's rights, preferring they were not seen or heard and forbade girls from visiting schools. Malala is probably a typical girl who likes to read the maximum number when she likes to do her hair. He is also very intelligent thanks in part to a father who values education and who has the life ambition to run the faculty. In addition to having the college Malala attended and fostering a desire to find out, his father encouraged him to talk about women's schools during a public forum.

After Malala was shot, he was taken to a hospital in Birmingham to receive more specialized medical assistance. He was separated from his family during the first days of his stay in the hospital and, after waking up from a coma, was afraid he would never see them or Swat again. His family was fortunate to be able to join him in England where he did not let his fear of another attack stop his struggle to continue the education of girls.

In my understanding, this assignment wants you to evaluate the decision made by the management officer, in her attempt to improve the business position.

First of all, net profit figure shows the profitability of the business. Net profit figure means the total profit earned minus all the costs incurred in running the business. Higher net profit figure in year 1 might indicate a favourable position, as it could be that higher profit is generated from using whatever method/machine they use in year 1, or running this machine incurred less cost. In year 2, they didn't necessarily earn lower profit, but running the new machine might be more costly.

Next, rate of productivity growth refers to the growth in quantity of output produced. If more output can be produced, this means higher efficiency. This means that the efficiency of production in year 2 is more than in year 1.

Thirdly, the number of customer's complaints is important in evaluating the business' goodwill, in this case, its position in the society. Without good relationship with the public, a company may lose its customer. It is always important to keep clients satisfied since they're the source of income to the business. This means that the management decision in year 2 is more favourable than in year 1.

Last but not least, rate of absenteeism can be evaluated in terms of productivity . Higher absenteeism means lower productivity, lower output but higher cost to the business since they're paying salaries to workers who don't produce output to sell. Less output to sell means less income can be earned. In year 1, the business productivity is higher than in year 2.

In year 2, the business has a boost in their efficiency & reputation. Although less profit earned, it is likely that this will grow in the future. Staff attendance can be improved by encouragement such as giving incentives for example, provision of more holidays.

I hope this is helpful!

My left shoulder hurts but I'm not sure if its torn or if i should work out today as well (its not soreness)
STALIN [3.7K]
Most likely you've pulled a muscle. The pain will probably go away in the next day or so, if not you should wrap it with a sprain cast in case you sprained it somehow. But definitely do not work out today. That could worsen it and make the pain more severe.

hope this helps!
