-Malala Yousafzai, I'm Malala: The Story of Girls Preparing for Education and Being Shot by the Taliban.

Further Explanation

Malala Yousafzai and her struggle for education for women in Pakistan began to become an international spotlight when she was shot in the head by the Taliban and survived. My Malala is a story of growing up in Pakistan that is slowly turning into an unrecognizable state under a non-secular extremist government.

When the Taliban moved to Pakistan they began to severely limit women's rights, preferring they were not seen or heard and forbade girls from visiting schools. Malala is probably a typical girl who likes to read the maximum number when she likes to do her hair. He is also very intelligent thanks in part to a father who values education and who has the life ambition to run the faculty. In addition to having the college Malala attended and fostering a desire to find out, his father encouraged him to talk about women's schools during a public forum.

After Malala was shot, he was taken to a hospital in Birmingham to receive more specialized medical assistance. He was separated from his family during the first days of his stay in the hospital and, after waking up from a coma, was afraid he would never see them or Swat again. His family was fortunate to be able to join him in England where he did not let his fear of another attack stop his struggle to continue the education of girls.

leonid [27]

Answer:

he need to invest $13,241 each year to achieve his goal

Explanation:

Target Saving Amount = Future value = F = $1,500,000

Number of years = n = 30 years

Inyterest rate = r = 8% = 0.08

Invetment to be made = P = ?

Use following formula to calculate Invetment amount

F = P x ([1 + r]^n - 1 )/r

P = F / ([1 + r]^n - 1 )/r

P = 1,500,000 / ([1 + 0.08]^30 - 1 )/0.08

P = 1,500,000 / 113.2832

P = 13241.15

Explanation:

In the Precipitation Map of Washington, the dark orange section indicates low rainfall in the region. Using the Shaded Relief Map of Washington, you can tell that this area is flat, possibly a plain. These areas normally don't get a lot of moisture. The Washington Precipitation Map has regions that are dark purple and dark orange. This means that they both get a lot of rain every year. If you look at these areas on the Washington Shaded Relief Map, you can see that these areas with a lot of rainfall are mountainous.

On the Washington Precipitation Diagram, purple/blue means more rain, and orange/red means less rain. Washington's Shaded Relief Map shows the mountains (br)

Carnival Enterprises produced 8,000 completed units of a product. According to manufacturing specifications, standard hours for
puteri [66]

Answer:

C. $3,400 F

Explanation:

The computation of the direct labor rate variance is shown below:

Direct Labor Rate Variance

= (Standard rate - Actual rate) × Actual hours

= ($12 - $200,600 ÷ 17,000 labor hours) × 17,000 direct labor hours

= ($12 - $11.8) × 17,000 direct labor hours

= $3,400 favorable

Since standard cost is more than the actual cost which leads to favorable balance

U(X,Y)equals=20Xplus+80Yminus−Upper X squaredX2minus−2Upper Y squaredY2 where X is his consumption of CDs with a price of $11
ankoles [38]

Answer:

The number of CDs = 111.36

The number of movie videos = 242.72

N/B: I choose not to round up the answers.

Explanation:

The method used is the Lagrangian method. Basically, the optimization problem we are trying to solve is the utility function u(x,y) = 20x+80y -x^2 -y^2

subject to the constraint

11x + 22y = 6565.

So the optimization problem(Lagrangian) is

\Delta = 20x + 80y -x^2 -y^2- \lambda(11x+22y-6565),

where \lambda is a constant called the Lagrange multiplier.

To find the optimal consumption, we need to maximize the Lagrangian with respect to the variables x,y,\lambda. This we do by differentiating \Delta with respect to each variable and then equate to 0.

\Delta_x : 11\lambda = 20 - 2x ........................(1) \\\Delta_y: 11\lambda = 40 -y .........................(2) \\\Delta_\lambda = 11x + 22y = 6565............................(3) \\

Equate (1) and (2), to get y = 20+2x and substitute into (3) to get x = 111.36. Substituting x = 111.36 into 20+2x to get the corresponding value of y.
