What is the relationship between groundwater and aquifers?

Geography

The groundwater and the aquifers essentially fall into the same category, as both of them are part of the underground freshwater reserves (though in some cases they can be saline as well). The groundwater tends to be mixed with ground very often. It also has the tendency to move inside the ground, making holes into the rocks or the ground and trying to find its way out on the surface. The aquifers, on the other hand, are much more static. They are larger bodies of water that are located inside the ground. In a way, they are like underground lakes, or rather reservoirs of water. The connection between these two, apart from being underground water bodies, is that the groundwater is often supplying the aquifers with water, thus recharging the water that they have lost though human usage or evaporation.

Goshia [24]

Answer: Physical/Mechanical Weathering

Explanation:

Weathering is the process that breaks down rocks into smaller particles like sediment and soil. Water, ice, acids, salts, plants, animals, and changes in temperature are all agents of weathering. In this case, extreme heat during the day may have caused the rock to expand, only to shrink from the cold of the night. Over time, this weakened the structure of the rock, causing it to split and crumble, with outer layers flaking off in the process known as exfoliation.

The correct answer is - B. deciding how many cans of vegetables to store at a warehouse.

The quaternary economic activities do not involve physical involvement into the production, trade, or storage of the products, but instead, this type of economic activity is performed strictly by using ones brain, thus making decisions and plans that are going to be performed by the workers in the primary and secondary (occasionally in the tertiary) economic layers.
