Answer:

D.that Soviet-style Communism would take over the world

Explanation:

The US, England and the USSR met at Crimea, in the Yalta Conference, shortly after the war was over. They pointed out the new policy for the "New World order", and soon differences emerged between Stalin and Roosevelt & Churchill.

The vision of a world dominated by a communist country that would expand to take over adjacent countries and eventually become rival to the U.S. in the globe was a major concern that provoked the Cold war.

The Soviet influence in the European stage quickly became a focus of major tensions and the peak of the tensions became when Berlin Airlift occurred, only to be followed by the Cuban Missile Crisis.

In both cases, ever-present fear of an assumed threat from the Communist world was in the discourse, policy and spirit of the Cold war era.

Irina18 [472]

Answer: These sources provided Shakespeare primarily with historical information. Moreover, Shakespeare borrowed ideas for the plot from them, and focused on some of the historical figures in his own work.

Explanation:

Not all of Shakespeare's ideas are his own. Sometimes, Shakespeare found inspiration in other sources that he used. This is mainly true for his history plays - plays that are named after monarchs that ruled during a certain time period. Holinshed's Chronicles is believed to have been his primary source for history plays - Henry IV (part I and II), Henry V, Henry VI (all three parts), Henry VIII, Richard II, Richard III, but also for King Lear, Cymbeline and Macbeth. Shakespeare incorporated many Roman figures in his work, such as Julius Caesar, Antony, Cleopatra, etc. While doing so, he mainly relied on Plutarch's work, a text called Parallel Lives that consists of 40 biographies of Greek and Roman leaders.

ch4aika [34]

Because the treaties were not true, after the signing of the treaty of verse there was the assertion of Nazism. The treaties were not really taken seriously as they should, they were just a way for some countries to come out of war and others to gain from it.
