The correct answer is A) pyramids.

A similarity between native Americans of the southwest and the Egyptians was that they both built pyramids.

Ancient Egypt is well known for its magnificent pyramids, like the Giza pyramids where the Great Pyramid is. Close to Giza, there are other important archeological centers where other pyramids were built. In the case of Mesoamerican civilizations, they also are well known for the great pyramids they built such as the Pyramid of the Sun, the pyramid of the Moon, and the Pyramid of Quetzalcoatl, in the great city of Teotihuacan. The Aztecs also built pyramids in its capital city of Tenochtitlan, and the Maya civilization built pyramids too, such the Cichenitza Castle in the Yucatan peninsula.
