<h3>What are subjects, verbs, and objects in a sentence?</h3>

  • The subject is the person or the thing we are referring to or talking about in the sentence.

  • The object is the action done by the subject or that suffers the consequences of an action donde by the subject.

The objects can be defined as a direct complement because it complements the verb in the sentence.

For instance,

<em>The cat chaces the mouse</em>

- Cat is the subject → we are talking about the cat

Now let us analyze the provided sentences,

2)

<em>Se me olvidaron los papeles en la biblioteca</em>.

a) ¿Qué se te olvidó?

Se me olvidaron los papeles → the object

b) ¿Dónde se te olvidaron?

<h3>Explanation: </h3>

The object direct replace the accompanying noun, write a direct object. They can be replaced if it is masculine it is "lo" (<u>singular</u>) or "los" (<u>plural</u>) and if it is feminine it is "la" (<u>singular</u>) or "las" (<u>plural</u>).

The indirect object replaces the one who receives the verb. It can be replaced, if it is in the third person, "le" (singular) or "les" (plural); they can also be replaced by unstressed pronouns (me, se, te, nos, os).
