Explanation: A simile is a comparison, we can see a clear example in the given sentence when the speaker compares the beat with a slackened drum: "The world beats dead Like a slackened drum." Hyperbole is an exaggeration, we can also see it in this phrase, because the speaker is exaggerating the consequences of going away from his loved one. Personification is giving human characteristics to a non-human object, an example on this phrase is "The world beats." So the figurative language which isn't in the sentence is allusion.
