The Agricultural Revolution increased the amount of food produced, which allowed populations to grow and workers to become better nourished. However, it also contributed to the Industrial Revolution in another way. It led to a decrease in the number of farm workers required to grow this food. In turn, this forced people to move to cities, giving rise to a large workforce that powered the factories.
