In this example, the topic sentence for Main Fact 2 is that a person who texts too much can put others at risk. This would be the main fact that would include all of the supporting details. The supporting details that I would expect to see in this paragraph would be those that expand on this idea. For example, I would expect to see an explanation of the ways in which other people are put at risk, and of the ways in which damage can be caused to others. For example, the author could include how texting can make you distracted and increase your reaction time. He could also talk about how texting means that your hands are busy, which might make it more difficult for you to manouver if necessary.

Which portion of this passage indicates that the narrator observed Roderick Usher trying to appear cheerful and friendly, in con
jeka57 [31]

"Usher rose from a sofa on which he had been lying at full length, and greeted me with a vivacious warmth which had much in it"

In this line, Usher's behavior of rising from the sofa to greet the narrator is a sign of friendly hospitality even though it seems as he rarely gets up from the sofa. Also, the narrator describes his greeting as vivacious. Vivacious means full of life and energy. This is in complete contrast to what we learn about Roderick Usher. While Usher is glad his friend has come, he is not full of life or energy.

Complete the statement to illustrate the commutative property. (PLEASE ANSWER FAST FOR BRAINLIEST!!!)
makkiz [27]

Answer:

C. 9

Explanation:

Let's add up the other side of the equation first. So we do 9+11 according to the order of operations and we get 20. We then add 10 to 20 and we get 30. Now we look at the other side and see that the numbers are the same, except 11 and 9 will be flipped. So the blank is 9.

I hope this helped!
