They would feel fearful because God is angry at unconverted men. They would feel fearful because hell is trying to seize new sinners every day. They would feel fearful because God may or may not keep sinners from falling into hell. They would feel hopeful because God is actively inviting sinners to gain “new life” and avoid the pitfall of hell.
