The biosphere is the region of the earth occupied by living organisms. The biosphere is the ecosystem that joins all living beings and their relationship with the elements of the lithosphere, geosphere, hydrosphere, and atmosphere. The biosphere covers from the dark ocean trenches, to high mountaintop and lush rain forests. Two examples of how the biosphere supports life are; (i) It provides oxygen for animals to breathe which also allows more complex life-forms to evolve and (ii) It also minimize the amount of harmful radiation that reaches the earth’s surface.
