Hey again!
The answer is based on personal opinion. I don't think our teachers should be armed, but there are advantages and disadvantages.
Multiple pros and cons of teacher's being armed.
Two pros:
- To protect their students and themselves during an active shooting
- They wouldn't be defenseless during a shooting
Why shouldn't they? (Cons) - They might use the gun to discipline their students.
- A child could find and use the firearm.
- It's not the teacher's job to be a bodyguard for the students.
- The students may feel unsafe around the teacher.
I hope this helps.

Answer: Do not be easily fooled.
Explanation:
Time and again the Bear fooled the Coyote yet the Coyote kept trusting the Bear without thinking.
The first time the Coyote was tricked into taking Potato stalks but the Coyote could not be blamed for it was the first time.
The second time however the Coyote should have been more cautious but he wasn't and got fooled again.
The third time, the Coyote still again trusted the bear whom he should have known by then not to be a good friend but instead he let himself get fooled again to the amusement of the bear.
The lesson is therefore to not be fooled easily.
Julie Burstein implies that rejections can actually be seen as a blessing in disguise:
- <em>"There's a fourth embrace, and it's the hardest. It's the embrace of </em><em>loss</em><em>, the oldest and most constant of human experiences. In order to create, we have to stand in that space between what we see in the world and what we hope for, looking squarely at rejection, at heartbreak, at war, at death. That's a tough space to stand in." </em>
This is a very common occurrence in a writer's life, <u>rejections come with the territory</u>. The important thing is to keep trying. There is a reason why a manuscript was rejected, it wasn't unique, or it wasn't developed enough, or it simply wasn't worth salvaging. But in order to find their voice, writers need to be open to experimentation, to change and the ability to adapt.
Another inspirational statement in the same vein comes from Sylvia Plath:
- <em>"I love my rejection slips. They show me I try."</em>
