In order to be elected president, candidates find themselves anticipating changes that they not so rarely fail to realize. This way they prepare themselves a great task that in case of failure they would later have to deal with.
Observing and making statements on a promise that failed to become reality, we are directly pointing fingers at the president himself.
Same goes for success. It is no longer a country's success but the success of one man only.
