The exponent tells you the number of times that factor is in the product. When the exponent is negative, the product is in the denominator.
.. (3⁻² +5⁻²)⁻¹ = 1/(1/9 +1/25) = 1/(34/225) = 225/34

Hey !!

Check the attachment.
Hope it helps you :)

P.s. In your question the negative no. is in exponentials or in power ,

a^m = a*a*a*a...(m times)

But if m is negative then solve like -
a^-m = 1/a^m

What does y=mx+b means
soldier1979 [14.2K]

Answer:

y=mx+b is "Slope-Intercept Form"

In an equation (when the equation is written as "y = mx + b"), the slope is the number ("m") that is multiplied by the x, and "b" is the y-intercept (point where the line crosses the vertical y-axis). This form of the line equation is called the "slope-intercept form". Hope this helps! ^-^

What is the least angle measure by which this figure can be rotated so that it maps onto itself? 45° 90° 180° 360° Left right do
disa [49]
360 degrees because it would rotate all the way back on to itself, 90 and 45 degrees wouldn't rotate it far enough, and 180 degrees would just flip it

What is the greatest common factor of 24s3, 12s4, and 18s?
3
6
3s
6s
Arte-miy333 [17]

Answer:

=> 6s

Step-by-step explanation:

Given terms

24s^3 ,12s^4 and 18s

GCF consists of the common factors from all the terms whose GCF has to be found.

In order to find GCF, factors of each term has to be made:

The factors of 24s^3:

24s^3=2*2*2*3*s*s*s

The factors of 12s^4:

12s^4=2*2*3*s*s*s*s

The factors of 18s:

18s=2*3*3*s

The common factors are(written in bold):

GCF=2*3*s

=6s

So the GCF is 6s ..
