The United States should or should not have helped Germany recover from World War II.

Should not; Germany's government was shaped by a totalitarian and threatened democracy because the Nazis were fascists. The U.S. is an incredibly democratically influenced country and would not have helped Germany out anyway. The Nazis beliefs were extreme and for the U.S. "unconstitutional."
