In literature, didacticism is an artistic philosophy intended to teach a moral lesson, to inform or to instruct and imitation refers to the action of using someone or something as a model. An allegory has those characteristics. An allegory is a literature work, like a story or a poem, that conveys a moral lesson, a doctrine, some abstract principles or a true by means of the events, things, fictional or symbolic figures, characters and actions narrated.
