The first example of the metaphor and simile is when the poet states that <em>she watches him wrapped like garbage and also waiting for her mind like the next week grocery </em>and the last example is <em>when she refers her like a wet brown bag of a woman. </em>The poet talks about how she has gone mad and needs to do something that calms her anger. So that is why she uses the words for description.
