TIPS ON WRITING KIDS STORIES?

English

- You can make things sound childish by using unsophisticated grammar and descriptions. Also feel free to throw in a little fantasy. E.g. ¨There´s a dragon in the bathroom. It is a very grumpy dragon named potty. Whenever you press his tail, he always roars at you. He doesn´t breathe fire...he breathes WHIRLPOOLS.¨

- Write about something kids actually LIKE. Don´t write a whole textbook about quantum mechanics. You could always go for the good ol´ knights and dragons, or something else. Kids don´t care if something is possible or not in real life. In their minds, nothing is impossible, so feel free to get creative.

- Make it the appropriate length. A lot of kids have short attentions spans. That is, unless something is particularly engaging. If you´re going to write a longer story, it cannot be boring. For example, maybe it could be a play where you can have a little kid play a certain character. Theyĺl be engaged and they can develop their reading skills.

- Read some other stories. There are plenty of writing platforms like Wattpad. Look for some stories that really inspire you.

- Add pictures. Human beings, especially children, respond more to images and visuals than they do to text. Maybe you could get an illustrator or use an application to create colorful doodles to catch their eye.

- Include a life lesson or two. This one is pretty self explanatory.

- If you´re reading your story to them, be sure to have plenty of inflection in your voice. I can´t stand talking to online narrators that talk in monotones, but I have a habit of asking Alexa about everything. Nobody likes listening to alien robots. Maybe you could try to bring out whatś happening in the book. If the brave princess jumps across a chasm, do a long leap yourself while reading it.

Josephine being worried about her sister and begging her to open the door is an
Valentin [98]

Answer: Dramatic Irony

Explanation:

In the Story of an Hour, Louise Mallard hears news that her husband has died from her sister Josephine. She immediately retreats into her room and locks herself in and as time passes begins to look forward to her life without the shackles of her marriage binding her and was actually quite pleased with it.

When Josephine was worried and begging Louise to open this was Dramatic Irony because Dramatic irony refers to a situation where the audience or the people reading the story are aware that there is a divergence between the way a situation looks and the way it actually is yet some characters in the story might not know.

The audience knew that Louise was happy and that Josephine did not need to worry but Josephine did not know this and so was quite worried.
