Direct and indirect characterization. direct is explaining it right in the text for example " Thomas was very smart and kind" in direct would be more of using his actions or words to describe him for example "Thomas made another 100 on the test. 'do you need any help? I would be happy to help' said Thomas"

What does the reader learn about dill in chapter 9 of TKAM
Alona [7]

Answer:

The reader learns that Dill has no home.

Explanation:

“Grandma says he hasn’t got a home—”

“Has too, he lives in Meridian.” “—he just gets passed around from relative to relative, and Miss Rachel keeps him every summer.”

This very brief passage gives us further insight into Dill's character, and once again reminds us that things are not always as they seem.

Why should we think before we act (explain)?
Pie
By thinking before we act, we can make better decisions.
Some people say whatever is in their mind without thinking about whether or not they are hurting someone else's feelings. This can lead to tense, ruined relationships.
Hope this helps!
