Which was the most important reason as to why slavery was justified?
Basile [38]
Slavery was justified by saying that it was 'natural' or 'beneficial' and that it was part of gods plan and to interfere was wrong. Also, people thought that slavery taught people how to live their lives if they thought they lacked the ability to. Mainly also because it was legal, however this is not a very good argument because it can be legal but unethical. Abolishing slavery would threaten the structure of society is another good point.

You are a Group Supervisor working in a Branch within the Operations Section. Who is your immediate supervisor?
notka56 [123]
The most probable answer to this question would be A. Branch Director

Though it depends to the company as to how they set up their own organizational chart in the main branch and the other branches of their company, a group supervisor, when working in a branch, would be reporting to the branch director directly, and especially since the group supervisor is working within the operations section. If, for instance, all the options presented are present on the branch's organizational chart, the immediate supervisor of the group supervisor would be the branch director. Though there may be instances that the group supervisor will be reporting to the branch leader, branch executive officer, and/or branch chief, the immediate supervisor will not change.

How did living in company town make union membership more difficult for workders
zzz [600]

Answer:

The town based union membership is quite difficult for working-class people because if the company stores couldn't sell goods to the workers who joined the union, they won't be able to benefit. Because these stores cannot benefit the union and its members and vice versa, this makes union membership in towns hard.
