The quadrilateral inscribed in the circle is a cyclic quadrilateral.Cyclic quadrilaterals have the property that: opposite angles of a quadrilateral are supplementary,that is they are equal to 180°Thus-
$a + c = 180 \\ x + 98 = 180 \\ x = 180 - 98 \\ x = 82$
Therefore x=82°
