Answer:

Water is the single most important resource needed in order to develop a civilization.

Explanation:

The world's major civilizations all had one common factor; they developed around water, mainly in the form of a long river. Water is the single most important resource needed in order to develop a civilization, as humanity, both in the past and in present time, need water in order to survive. In ancient times, civilizations were formed around water as they not only needed it to drink but also to cook, to water the crops, and where there was water there were likely fish. Later on, these civilizations started to use water as faster way to transport goods and to exchange goods with other civilizations, creating ports. Almost every long-lasting civilization in the world such as the Arabs, Chinese, Indians, and Venetians, were all formed around water, and used that water to expand and develop their communities.

Almost all advanced started around or near a river, Egyptians, for example, started near the Nile River. Yellow River - Chinese, Indus Valley - Indian. So it must be a river.

goldenfox [79]
Firewall rules permit particular activity going through from one side of an internet traffic switch to the next. Inbound standards (WAN to LAN) limit access by pariahs to private assets, specifically enabling just particular outside clients to get to particular assets. Outbound guidelines (LAN to WAN) figure out what outside assets nearby clients can approach. A firewall has two default rules, one for inbound activity and one for outbound. The default principles of the modem switch are: 1. Inbound. Restrict all access from outside with the exception of request to get access to the network from the LAN side. 2. Outbound. Permit all entrance from the LAN side to the outside.

Imagine you are the magistrate of a district which is a flood prone region of the ganga plains. What measures would you take to
dmitriy555 [2]

Answer:

Explanation:

Flood occurs when land, vegetations, plants can no longer hold up water leading to runoff of the available water. It can result from tsunami, failure of dams, excesses breeze over the ocean, lack of drainage.

Construction of redirection canals to help rechannel the direction of water away from where it can cause destruction.

Construction of drainage system to allow easy flow of water and prevent obstruction.

River defence can also be made such as reservoir and reeves to prevent excessive flow of water.

I will advice the community leader on ways in which this flood could be controlled which are already listed above and provide adequate support in making the changes. Letters will be out across to necessary authority to see it done.
