The answer to your question would be that the sentence that is written in the active voice is the following one: Samantha returned the book herself. That is, the correct option would be A.

In most English sentences with an action verb, the subject performs the action denoted by the verb. Since in these sentences the subjects does or acts upon the verb, the sentences are said to be in the active voice. As you can see, in sentence A Samantha, the NP which is the subject of the sentence, is the one who returns the book.

Well for one I think their immaturity didn't help the situation.  Their love was a lot like puppy love in the sense that it was their first time dealing with a relationship and therefore didn't know how to handle issues that were thrown at them.  At the same time, some of the other characters may disagree because "young love is the best love" in the sense that it is pure and innocent.

31)  The citation (Connor 45) in paragraph 2 MOST LIKELY refers to which source?

The correct option is A) “Exploring the Mines” since in the paragraph the narrator specifically mentions the book when he says “I had already known what to expect once we got there since I had read Nathan Connor’s book, Exploring the Mines several times growing up.”

32)  How are the references organized in the Works Cited list?

The references in the Works Cited list are organized by last name alphabetically so option B) is the correct one. The list starts with the following authors: Anderson, Brady, Connor, Johnson, etc. and these are ordered by last name.

33)  Which search terms would BEST help you find the source written by LizBeth Stanley?

The search term that would best help me find the source written by LizBeth Stanley is option C) “Native Americans and coal miners” since the name of the book is “How Native Americans Were Affected by the Hunt for Coal.” The key words are “Native Americans” and “coal” so that the word search is successful.

Safiya wants to teach her brother how to test the acidity of the soil in their garden. What should she explain after telling him
Zepler [3.9K]

Answer:

C.how to tell whether the test was accurate

Explanation:

This is because, after the test, Safiya's brother should be able to check if the test carried out was accurate and not wrong as directed.

This could be done through series of validation technique rather than assuming that the test carried out was correct.
