So you can solve this using the equation (y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1). This basically means the difference of the y-values (rise) divided (over) the difference of the x-values (run). So basically, this equation is used to find the “rise over run.” In this case, I’ll choose the coordinate pair (0,2) to be my first values, and (4,5) to be my second. Doing it vice versa wouldn’t affect the outcome since both the numerator and denominator would come out to be negative, and a negative divided by a negative is a positive. To solve this, plug in the values to get (5 - 2)/(4 - 0). This reduces to 3/4. To find the slope of the perpendicular line, you would do the opposite reciprocal of that. This means that you would flip the numerator and denominator and change the positive/negative sign to the opposite one of what it is. So the final answer will be -4/3. Hope this helps! Don’t mind my lengthy answers!

A certain roller coaster can accommodate 1600 riders per hour a digital sign states that there are 345 people in line if you get
sergiy2304 [10]
Given that the <span>roller coaster can accommodate 1600 riders per hour, thus the roller coaster can accomodate 1600 / 60 = 26.67 riders per minute.

Given that there are 345 people in the line, the number of minutes it will take for the 345 persons to get into the roller coaster is given by 345 / 26.67 = 12.94 minutes.

Therefore, it will take you 12.94 minutes to get to the front of the line.

For problems 1, 2, and 3, use the function g(x) = sin(6x) .
Fantom [35]

Step-by-step explanation:

1. Amplitude = 1.  g(x) = 1 sin(6x).  The coefficient 1 is the amplitude.  The range of the function is -1 \le g(x) \le 1  or, in interval notation, [-1, 1]

2. The period is  \frac{2\pi}{6}=\frac{\pi}{3}.

x-intercepts (at the beginning, middle, and end of the period) 0,\,\frac{\pi}{6},\,\frac{\pi}{3}

Maximum (1/4 of way through period)  \left(\frac{\pi}{12},\,1 \right)

Minimum (3/4 of way through period)  \left( \frac{\pi}{4}, \, -1 \right)

What is Y=-2/-3x+4 simplified
marshall27 [118]

Answer:

y=2/3+4

Step-by-step explanation:

This equation is in Slope-Intercept form, the most common, therefore, y=-2/-3+4 just needs to apply the - x - = + rule to get, y=2/3+4
