The perimeter of a rectangle is 20xm. the length is 6cm longer than the width. what are the length and width of the rectangle?
aleksley [76]
Let width be x

length= 6+x

p=2(l+w)
20=2(6+x+x)
10=2x+6
10-6=2x
4=2x
x=4/2
x=2

Therefore the width is 2 cm and length is (6+2)= 8 cm

Hope I helped :)

On a piece of paper, use a protractor to construct a triangle with angle measures of 60° and 80°. Select from the drop-down menu
maria [59]
The sum of interior angles of a triangle must add up to 180 degrees

if the triangle has an angle that is greater than 90 degrees, then it is considered obtuse

if the triangle has an angle that is 90 degrees, then it is considered right

if all angles are less than 90, then it is acute

find the missing angle "x"

180=60+80+x

is angle x less than, greater, or equal to 90 degrees?
