Which reason best highlights why amendments to the Social Security Act (SSA) were made?
Elza [17]
The biggest reason behind changes to the Social Security Act (in 1939) was to make sure this program helped more people in American society. One of the amendments made to the Social Security Act was the implementation of survivor benefits. If a person was to die unexpectedly and had paid into the system, family members would be able to receive the money owed to that person who passed away unexpectedly.

Besides survivor benefits, retired workers collecting Social Security could set up a payment system where their children or spouse received money as well. All of these changes lead to Social Security having a more positive affect on the American family as a whole.

In what ways does the aria "at the sight of this" reflect characteristics of minimalism
4vir4ik [10]

Answer:

The aria "at the sight of this" reflect characteristics of minimalism because of its employment of repettive patterns, and the reiteration of musical phrases.

Explanation:

First of all, an aria is a self-contained piece of one voice. It can be accompanied by an instrumental or orchestral accompaniment or not. In our case, it is accompanied by orchestral instruments. However, that is not the fact that makes it minimalist. But the repetitive composition the voices and the instrument follow.
