Put the causes of the Great Dust Bowl in the correct order.
UkoKoshka [18]

The proper order in which these phenomena occurred was: 1. Inexperienced farmers... 2. Poor farm practices... 3. Severe droughts... 4. The lack of roots... 5. High winds...

What was the Great Dust Bowl?

The Dust Bowl is the name of a natural phenomenon that occurred in the Great Plains of the United States between 1932 and 1939. This phenomenon was characterized by strong dust storms that greatly damaged the ecology and agriculture of a wide area.

This phenomenon was mainly caused by a series of errors such as:

 • Inexperienced farmers.
 • An abnormal dry season.
 • Air currents.

In general, what happened was that a large number of inexperienced farmers settled on the Great Plains. There they established plantations of wheat and other crops that could not withstand the drought and withered. This caused the ground to become bare and when the windy season came the dust on the ground produced the great clouds of dust.
