The United States was a Democratic nation. And the Soviet Union was a Communist nation.
African Americans were allowed to fight for the allies and gained recognition as well as respect for how well they excelled on the battlefield. They found that things remained the same when they returned home. They knew it was time to collect on the lives, injuries, and limbs they had invested in the war and seek what was really their right such as to vote, true equality; the right to the same education as all Americans.
Women had filled men's roles in the workplace during the war while the men went to fight the battles.
Most of the people who lived in the provinces of Alsace and Lorraine were french<span>. The </span>french<span> had to pay $$(reparations) to Prussia, and they took over Paris until the $$ was paid off.</span>
After the War the king started to tax the colonies to pay for the war costs. The colonies didn’t like that and declared independence resulting in the war.
