Do you mean Martin Luther not Martin Luther King Jr? both are very different people and Pope francis was a big admirer of King.

If you meant Martin Luther, the pope despised him as he condemned the Catholic Church for its corrupt selling of indulgences and forgiveness of sins. He created revolutionary and radical (at the time) theologies which enraged many catholics.
