Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein, two _________ Post reporters, reported on the Watergate break-in with the help of an unknown in
kobusy [5.1K]
This can easily be answered by looking up their names or "the Watergate scandal" on Google. If you didn't have access to Google, however, you should know that the Watergate scandal involved former President Nixon spying on his political opponents at the Watergate hotel. Although this is not infallible logic, if you had to make an 'educated guess', Nixon was the president at the time. The president lives in Washington D.C, the US capital. This should lead you to believe that the Washington Post might have uncovered this scandal. Indeed those two reporters worked for the Washington Post.

<span>c. The United States entered World War II because Japan attacked its navy.

Not only had Japan attacked the US naval base at Pearl Harbor, but that was an attack against American home soil, in the US territory of Hawaii.  (Hawaii later became a state, in 1959.)  The next day, President Roosevelt went before Congress and described December 7, 1941 as "a date that will live in infamy" because of the Japanese attack.  Congress declared war against Japan, drawing the USA into World War II.  Germany and Italy, allied with Japan, responded with a declaration of war against the USA, and the USA responded by declaring war against Germany and Italy as well.
