Answer:

1.  The top most layer of rock is the youngest

2.  By using Rule of Superposition, one can know which of the rock layer is the youngest.

Explanation:

Based on principle of superposition which explains that in a relative dating and undeformed stratigraphic sequences, the oldest strata is at the bottom of the sequence.

In other words, the stratigraphic dating suggests that the law of superposition is reliable, as an object cannot be older than the materials of which it is composed.

Hence, the oldest sedimentary rock units are considered to be at the bottom, and the youngest are at the top.

Which statement best describes American policy towards native Americans in the late 19th century
Illusion [34]

Answer:

Native Americans were forced to go into reservations.

Explanation:

In the late 19th century, the Americans tried to help what was left of the Natives after the constant wars they fought for their land and the never-ending sickness and illnesses they endured which came from the Americans.  The American policy towards Natives pretty much forced them into reservations because they had nowhere else to go and the Americans were not too sure what to do with them.

Historians must look at the age of the evidence itself, they must also look at whether it can be corroborated by other pieces of historical evidence and that the source of the evidence is reliable.
