“A Raisin in the Sun” was written by <em>Lorraine Hansberry</em>. This play was performed by the first time on Broadway in 1959. The name of the play is taken from “Harlem”, written by Langston Hughes. The play refers to the dream a man has and the possibility to make that dream come through like what happens at the end when the members of the family get together.
