Why did many of president kennedy's "new frontier" programs fail?
ziro4ka [17]
The correct answer is D. "They did not gain support amongst many Congressional conservatives."

Kennedy's New Frontier program was supposed to help individuals in American society both economically and socially. This included increased funding to elementary and secondary schools and providing health insurance to the nation's elderly individuals through the Medicare program. However, Congressional conservatives did not pass these programs. One of the biggest reasons why these failed to pass was due to the cost of these requests.

How did France play a role in Americans moving west ?
Crank

France played a role in Americans moving West by agreeing to the Louisiana Purchase of 1803. The Louisiana Purchase was a deal made by the United States and France, and was the exchange of U.S. territory for around $15 million. During this time, the France had owned numerous current states in the United States, but as the States began to grow more rapidly they needed more land. Napoleon, who was the leader of France at this time, declined the first offer for the Louisiana Purchase, but as conflicts in Europe arose, he decided he needed the money and finally agreed. This granted the United States more territories to the West.

How were the histories of early Japan and early Korea similar?
marshall27 [118]
Korea and Japan have close relationship ever since their ancient histories to this day. Because of this reason, their economic growth and development have similarities but on the other hand, due to their different characteristics, they also have differences. Throughout the research paper, several similarities and diversities between Korea and Japan could be found. Two countries had impacts on each other, for example, Korea’s influence in the ancient history and Japanese occupation in Korea. Both of the two countries have long blossomed histories, distinct art and literature works, that are going through remarkable economic development. These characteristics like religious beliefs and government policies helped them to grow faster compared to other countries. They both are major industrial countries with high technology now and they are still growing. When looking at their efforts to put emphasis on educating the future generations it seems like they will continue to grow in the future as well.
I hope this helps.
