Cuba's Batista era is best described as a period of economic problems despite promotion of foreign investment.

Answer: Option B

Explanation:

The foreign investment was at its high best for the Cuban people during the Batista era. But it could not resolve the economic crisis they were going through. FDI inflow was evident but the bankruptcy of Cuban government was due near.

This was due to deficiency of the government to regulate the limited trade and investment.  The Batista era in Cuba is considered as the era of economic problems and hence can be best described as the period of economic issues despite promoting foreign investment.
