The Cenozoic era is the most recent era and includes the emergence of mankind and its' ancestors. It includes earth history from 66 million years to almost the present and also is known as the age of mammals which includes mankind. Evolution of the mammals can be traced relatively easily since there are most likely more abundant fossils than back in say the Cambrian or especially the Precambrian.

(1) Plate tectonics envisions the Earth divided into dozens of lithospheric plates that move about and interact with one another
ANTONII [103]

Answer:

Transform boundary.

Explanation:

The three main configurations of the tectonic plates are the divergent limits, convergent limits and transform boundary.

Transform boundary occurs when two plates move towards each other, colliding and forming cracks in both. These cracks do not cause the destruction of these plates, so it does not promote the creation of other plates, but it does cause flaws, which can even generate flaws on the earth's surface. An example of this occurred with the Pacific plates and the North American plate that caused the San Andres fault in California.

In general, how do false color images differ from natural color images?
Mekhanik [1.2K]

Answer:

A false color image is represented by multispectral band of sensor of red, green and blue components, allowing us to visualise wavelengths that natural images can't.

Explanation:

 • A false-color can help locate the nonvisual part of the colour of the image with an electromagnetic spectrum that differs from a true photograph or natural images.
 • Used in density slicing, and choropleths for informative visualization, like red, is used for vegetation, blues for build area or settlement and yellow for agricultural lands and rivers black in color.
 • The difference in spectral sensitivity of the human eye and the optical camera which use infrared to detect vegetations from a dense cluster of buildings.
 • it is also called as Pseudo color which can show the thermal heat signatures of the color with there wavelengths, thus false color is often used among satellites and aerial photography

________weathering is when physical forces break solid rock into smaller sediments.
Alex Ar [27]
There are two types of major weathering- chemical weathering and physical weathering.

In this case, physical weathering is when physical forces break solid rock into smaller sediments.

For example, granular disintergration, when the rock expand and contract at alternate rate due to temperature and the different minerals, the rock would break up into smaller sediments.

And in this case, temperature is one of the physical factor, while physical factor also include stress and pressure etc.

Hope it helps!
