The development of towns drive has engage to evolution of
medieval society by the towns in which they have made people to be free from
each class and that they were able to choose the occupation they want and to
travel.
Virginia's climate allowed many crops to grow on the lands of many white rich landowners. So, in order to increase the harvesting and planting they transported slaves from Africa in the trans Atlantic slave trade, resulting in the establishment of slavery.
