Answer: The book of Acts covers about 30 years of church history.

Explanation  It was written  in Rome by Luke the evangelist around the years 63 to 70 AD and it is one of the easiest books to read in the Bible. Luke wrote to Theophilus what happened during the 30 years that followed the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus. Mainly, he narrates the expansion of Christianity and the organization of the early Christian church with precise and dramatic details. He highlighted the way the Gospel brought down the cultural walls between Jews and Gentiles. The evangelists Peter and Paul are the main characters in these stories: Peter as the anchor of the believers in Jerusalem and Paul as the first great missionary who tries to convert the Gentiles - not Jews reaching new far away lands. The main purpose of the book is to show that the believers and the church continue to carry out Christ's work under the direction of the Holy Spirit .
