A reasonable right to pricacy can be expected if<u> refusing to testify against oneself in court</u>.

<u>According to the </u><u>fifth</u><u> ammendment</u>, we all have the right to protect ourselves agaisnt self-incimination. This is the people have to not testify agaisnt themselves. Therefore, if the government feels like you should be investigated, the state must prove its case without the help of the defendant. This also applies when an a defendant refuses to talk to the police, however, such defendant cannot refuse to appear before the grand jury.
