The War Industries Board oversaw the creation of goods that are needed for war (guns, ammunition, tanks, etc.). Along with this, the War Industries Board also had the power to give out raw materials and were able to tell companies what products must be made and how many to make. This control over the economy helped the government know that they would have enough materials needed for the war effort.

The war industries board (wib), led by Bernard Bharuch, prepares the United States for war as WIB regulated all industrial output and compelled them to manufacture war-related goods.

Further Explanations:

War Industries Board anadministrative organization of United States recognized on 28th July1917 for direct the procurement of supplies for the “War Department” and “Naval base”. The panel was framed by Frank A. Scott the ex-supreme of the “General Munitions Board”. He was later replaced by “Daniel Willard” in November. In January 1918, the board was lastlyaccepted under the governance of “Bernard M. Baruch”.

The foremost motive of the committee establishment was to boost mass production techniques and increase the proficiency of the companies. Companies were directed to standardize their retail to eliminate waste and at the same time quotas were set for manufacture and storing of raw material. This governance over the economy helped the administrationassure that they are having enoughprovisions needed for the war.We can also say that the board controlled the nation’s budget.

Alan Everett is the President of the United States. He has nominated 15 heads of the executive departments that form his cabinet
Svetradugi [14.3K]

Answer:

The correct answer is B. The official body that must confirm and approve the appointments of Alan's 15 nominees is the Senate.

Explanation:

The Senate has several exclusive powers, which are listed in the Article 1 of the United States Constitution; the most significant is that the president cannot ratify international treaties or, with rare exceptions, cannot make important designations of authorities (the most important being ambassadors, members of the federal judiciary, including the Supreme Court and members of the Cabinet) without the consent and advice of the Senate.
