Places which are sparsely populated contain few people. Places which are densely populated contain many people. So if we think about it, capital cities like Austin has a bunch of people there and is very popular (other than houston) And in coastal areas, like the beach, people pack up there in general for fun and to relax. I wouldnt really see anyone hanging out in a rainforest for fun.
